Chasing my feet, yeah my mind is playing catch up,
Stereo vision but the music doesn't match up.
A stutter jitters by, telling me that I can fly,
Only if I really try.
Pedestrian ambition, decisions are getting hard,
When positions of power just enforce and disregard.
There's got to be a method to this madness,
Stepping out of the box to kill the sadness.

Call me a heathen if you want it doesn't bother me,
I don't wanna live in a world where him and I agree.
Dollars and cents they don't equate to reciprocity,
Speculating on a curiosity.
We've got to move the goal posts closer to home,
So we can kick with confidence and have a strength of our own.
Obsessing on possessions like a dog with a bone,
Is like formulating rhythms but forgetting the tone.


Capitalism is imprisonment by definition,
Rocketing toward an imminent collision.
When billions of people are affected by recession,
Don't you start to think about this money obsession?
Money is debt, not wealth don't you realise?
Look to the source behind the screen of lies.
A virtual credit on your virtual account,
Isn't worth a simple cabbage no matter the amount.

And did you know that there are other ways of doing things?
Keeping the power here no matter what the future brings.
Heeding the song that mother nature all around us sings.
Without the spin doctors pulling the strings.
Cos value is implicit in the things that we can grow,
Naturally without the need for any cash flow.
The man he doesn't make the sun shine or the wind blow,
He just insists that we surrender to the status quo.
